Full service New Construction and Renovation Projects
We are intimately involved with your projects from the inception of the plans to the last accessory being placed on the coffee table.
This is a high level of involvement in your project as we work through the drawings of your new build or renovation, create elevations and renderings of your spaces, provide detailed plumbing, electrical, tile and other finish schedules, manage the ordering of materials and delivery to the job site, communicate with your build team to ensure the design intent is understood and being implemented, and proactively problem solve on the job site.
Selections Only Design
We design your space and provide a list of materials and mood boards to illustrate the design concepts and you take it from there.
This service is best for clients building a semi custom home, or a renovation or refresh project that does not involve moving any walls.
Furnishings design
We take a blank slate and create a space you really want to be in. Our furnishings projects include quality upholstery from reliable vendors, and we work to source interesting pieces that will stand the test of time.
Virtual and Long Distance Design options are available for clients located outside of Kansas City.

The CHD Process
01. kick off call
Tell us about your project and how we can support you. We go over our process in more detail, and schedule an in person or virtual meeting.
02. consultation
We meet in person (usually at your home) to talk more in depth about your project, your style, and your goals for the home.
03. Project bid
We provide a proposal for our design services prior to moving forward.
04. initial design concept
Once the proposal is approved, we create an initial concept to establish the overall direction of the project.
05. presentation
The entire design is complete and specific products are chosen for your space.
06. revisions
You will have the opportunity to request some additional options as needed.
07. project execution
Ordering begins and products are installed on a schedule.
